Brian Geer

Our "Morning Swim" show enjoys the talent and humor of Brian Geer. Born and raised in Anacortes Brian graduated from AHS in 1987 and joined the Army. He was deployed to "Operation Just Cause" (Panama) and "Operation Desert Shield/Storm".
Brian returned to Anacortes and married his wife Candice in 1993. They have three children, Cortney, Meghan and Scott and enjoy raising generation number 6 in Anacortes.
In 1997 he became a volunteer FF/EMT with the Anacortes Fire Department and in 2000 became a police officer with the Swinomish Police Department. Last June, Brian wanted to spend more time with his wife and kids and walked away from police work. Although he misses it, he enjoys seeing and being with his family even more.
In 2006 Brian was elected to an "at large" position on the city council of the City of Anacortes. He enjoys being a member very much. Some of his hobbies include volunteering in the community, improv comedy, golf and coaching youth sports. |
